FLAXSEEDS - Flaxseeds are the main agent in this product. This is the ingredient that facilitates the amazing curl definition! It helps to seal the cuticle and reduces frizz. Flaxseed also has B vitamins which are known to strengthen your hair follicle and help with faster hair growth. 

WATER - We LOVE water. Except this is not water from your sink, this is DISTILLED water. Tap water contains chemicals such as chlorine and chloramine, which are used to disinfect water from harmful bacteria. (Fun fact: by the time tap water reaches our shower heads or sinks, its been collecting everything from natural minerals to potentially harmful bacteria along the way!) These toxins are harmful to the hair and skin. They can strip out the oils that your body naturally produces!

GLYCERIN - Helps with moisturizing your hair and avoiding split ends. It also relieves itchiness of the scalp. But most importantly, this is the queen of helping define your curls!

RAW SHEA BUTTER- We LOVE shea butter. Shea butter softens your hair & reduces split ends. Shea butter also seals in moisture to deeply moisturize your hair.

JAMAICAN BLACK CASTOR OIL - This amazing oil specializes in moisturizing, thickening, strengthening and rapidly increase hair growth. It increases blood flow to the scalp, supplying valuable nutrients to hair follicles. It will also prevent hair breakage, dandruff, eczema and dry, itchy scalp.

AVOCADO OIL- A super lightweight oil that penetrates the hair shaft and moisturizes your hair! It helps prevent breakage, dandruff, and repairs damaged hair.

JOJOBA OIL- This oil shares many similarities with sebum, aka the oil our scalp naturally produces. It deeply penetrates the hair shaft and follicle to leave our hair feeling amazing.

XANTHAN GUM - This increases the thickness of the product.

SUNFLOWER LECITHIN OIL - This oil is high in antioxidants that protect and strengthens your scalp and hair. Contains choline and inositol (B vitamins) that support the growth of healthy hair. It restores hair by enhancing the amount of protein needed and strengthening hair strands. It also Improves texture and enhances shine. It is high in fatty acids which help your hair preserve and sustain moisture.

OPTIPHEN PLUS - A perfectly safe preservative that consists of Phenoxyethanol (an aromatic ether alcohol), Sorbic Acid (a natural acid that offers protection from yeast, fungus, and mold) and Caprylyl Glycol (an emollient base). 

*In other words, it fights off bacteria, mold, fungus, & yeast, and is considered to be one of the safest on the market. It does not contain parabens or formaldehyde, which are bad guys that we don't like.

ESSENTIAL OILS

• Sweet Orange essential oil soothes the scalp, moisturizes dry strands, promotes hair growth and infuses Vitamin C into the hair.
• Peppermint essential oil increases the number of follicles, follicle depth, and overall hair growth.
• Cedarwood essential oil is known to cleanse the scalp, remove excess oil, dirt, and dandruff. It enhances circulation to the scalp and tightens the follicles, which helps stimulate healthy growth.

*For best results, apply after saturating hair with Kuru's Hydration Spray & Kuru's Sealant Butter.

Take small sections and apply product to hair, coating the strands evenly. After, comb through hair with a brush.
